“Loads Raised for Laundry Love”

When we received a phone call from NWAMotherlode, we were overwhelmed and extremely grateful. If you don’t know about NWAMotherlode, you need to know. NWAMotherlode was created  to give moms in Northwest Arkansas a fun place to get together online to read, laugh and compare notes on motherhood. We want to give a big thanks to Tray Morrison at White River Nursery for his expertise and help to make our dream a reality.   With the implementation of this Green House, The Farm will be able to help our community in many ways. We will now be able to extend our growing season throughout the winter months, which will allow us to distribute hunger relief year round. We are excited about the educational experiences we...

Welcome Jake Melton to the Farm Team We are so excited to announce our new Farm Manager for the 2013 Season. We want you to recognize his face and learn a little bit about him. Jake Melton grew up in Marion, AR on the Mississippi delta, surrounded by rice and soybean fields. In college he took that love of the land and developed it further, learning about and implementing different methods of agriculture, and participating in the community that farming can facilitate. Jake also has a passion for using sustainable agriculture to develop vulnerable and food insecure areas locally and around...
