Cobblestone Project DC...Distribution & Collection efforts underway to help collect winter needs

the forecast for this coming Saturday in NW Arkansas shows a low of 33 degrees which means fall is at hand and winter is on the way.

The Cobblestone Project team is asking for our community to come together and collect extra winter needs that we may have around our homes so that they may be given to those without.

We are kicking off the Cobblestone Project DC (Distribution & collection) efforts and are trying to collect the following items:

  • Coats
  • Gloves
  • Blankets
  • Sleeping bags
  • Socks
  • Winter hats
  • Long johns
  • Boots
  • Toiletries

Here's what you can do to help:

  1. Organize a Cold Weather Clothing Drive At Your:
    • Place of work
    • Place of worship
    • Your social organization
    • Your Neighborhood
  2. Once you have your event organized, email dc@cobblestoneproject.org with name, address and phone number.
  3. Cobblestone will pick up your group’s donation on October 31st.
  4. Cobblestone will work with area non-profits (to distribute your donations to those who need it most).
  5. Cobblestone will then report back out the results

Thanks in advance and we've created a flyer that you can download and pass around to help communicate the need.
